Rabbis
Amirit Rosen is the Rabbi of Kehilat Moreshet Avraham in Jerusalem, along with her partner Rabbi David Goodman, in a co-rabbinate model. Amirit received her ordination to the rabbinate from the Schechter Rabbinical Seminary. Amirit holds a BA in Middle Eastern Studies and Jewish Philosophy from Ben-Gurion University and a MA in Midrash and Halacha from the Schechter Institute. Rabbi Amirit is a faculty member of the Pardes Institute for Jewish Studies and a founding partner of the Negev Interfaith Initiative. In addition, Amirit is active in social initiatives that work to strengthen the fabric of shared life between different populations and religions in Israel. Amirit is involved in prayer circles and in enhancing intergenerational community spiritual experiences.
David Goodman is the rabbi of Kehilat Moreshet Avraham in Jerusalem, where he lives with his partner, Rabbi Amirit Rosen, in a joint rabbinate model. David was ordained to the rabbinate by Beit Midrash Harel and by Beit Midrash Shechter. He holds a BA in Philosophy and Political Science and a MA in Philosophy from the Hebrew University. David researches the history of philosophy in the twentieth century, with an emphasis on the intersection between philosophy, theology, and aesthetics. Over the years, David has been involved in social and cultural initiatives in Jerusalem, as well as in interfaith activities and dialogue. David currently serves on the board of directors of the Rabbinical Voice for Human Rights.
