We are a traditional Jerusalem community that strives to promote a sensitive, justice-seeking, and multi-faceted Judaism \u2013 a Judaism that connects man to his fellow man, and connects people to the roots of their lives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The community and synagogue are open to adults and youth, immigrants and veterans, families and individuals and those with special needs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the leadership of the community's rabbis, Raba Amirit Rosen and Rabbi David Goodman, and a wide network of neighborhood friends and volunteers, we create a space for prayer, study, poetry, creativity, kindness, and meaningful spirituality.<\/p>\n\n\n\nAbout<\/a>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n

Prayer is a way to connect to the Creator of the world, to ourselves and to those around us, and a way to express intentionally and in poetry what is in our hearts. Prayer is the opportunity for the community to gather, rejoice, and mourn together. Prayer at KMA is egalitarian and the sanctuary is shared. The synagogue is accessible to wheelchairs, children and families.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

Your Events with Us<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our synagogue is bright and spacious \u2013 come visit us! Family events, Mitzvah feasts, Sheva Barachot, Zeved Bat, circumcision, and life ceremonies. Come share the exciting moment of the covenant and the giving of the name at Kehilat Moreshet Avraham. Bar and Bat Mitzvah is an exciting point in the growing up process of our children. Bnei Mitzvot are held in the heichal on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The rabbis of the community are happy to accompany the process and the event. For those interested in the B. Preparation for Bar and Bat Mitzvah<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A journey of acquaintance and encounter with the Jewish bookcase, the prayer, the tallit and the tefillin, and the values \u200b\u200bof kindness and morality to which the Jewish tradition aspires. The rabbis accompany the family before and during the ceremony and build the sermon together with the bar\/bat mitzvah.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

NOAM Youth Movement (Jerusalem Talpiot-East)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

NOAM, the youth movement of traditional Judaism, is a pan-Israeli organization that maintains multi-faceted community life throughout the country while emphasizing an inclusive and pluralistic Jewish identity. NOAM's Talpaz branch has a vibrant home in Moreshet Avraham.
